Sales Representative Position

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Representative to join our team at a leading carpet and rug cleaning company. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and promoting our services. Your focus will be on identifying customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

    • Prospect and identify potential clients through various methods, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
    • Conduct research to understand client needs, preferences, and pain points.
    • Present our carpet and rug cleaning services in a compelling manner, highlighting their benefits and value.

2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Understand client feedback and relay it to the relevant teams for service improvement.

3. Sales Presentations and Consultations:

    • Schedule and conduct sales presentations and consultations with clients to understand their cleaning requirements.
    • Provide accurate and detailed information about our services, pricing, and process.
    • Offer customized cleaning solutions that align with the client’s needs and budget.

4. Quoting and Proposal Generation:

    • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals based on client discussions.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure proposed services can be effectively delivered.

5. Sales Follow-Up and Closing:

    • Follow up with potential clients to address any further questions and concerns.
    • Negotiate terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Close sales deals by securing client commitment and obtaining necessary documentation.

6. Sales Performance Tracking:

    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and outcomes using CRM software.
    • Provide regular updates on sales progress and forecasts to the Sales Manager.

7. Market Insights and Feedback:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
    • Share valuable insights and feedback from the field with the team to refine sales strategies.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the cleaning services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Customer-focused attitude and the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and persistent in pursuing sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and basic computer applications.
